Express and communicate. Person need it to live. Everything we do communicate, our facts, emotions, corporal gestures, thinking, voice...

It´s impressive how many information can we express unconsciously.

Engagement is a special communication feel between two person or group of person. 

It´s a comfortable and security  sensation between receptor and transmitter. 

It´s a feeling where both are connecting through contact eyes, emotions and corporal gestures. 

When you get it, you can feel really good and satisfied.

Definitely, It´s a concept  relational with emotional intelligence  and non verbal comunication.

I have to comments  the  Dr. Albert Mehrabian experiments about comunication.

He determined that when two people communicate transfering emotions, we can share the comunication in three areas.

-->7% is verbal impact. 

It´s exactly word that we say. 

-->38% is paralinguistic impact.

How we say it? Voice tone, pauses, intonation, rhythm...

-->55% Non verbal comunication.

What our body are  communicating? Contact eyes, legs position, hands movements,...

It´s Amazing ! ! !  93% of our communication it´s not what we say, it´s how we say it.  it´s engagement. 

From this corner I can see how important  Engagement tools are in the Social world as well as in the business world. 

At the moment I am working in Caja Rural de Granada ( Andalusian´s Bank), I have met a new group of friends and partners, they are a very nice and interesting persons. They are a new group as well as a new experience in my life, and is curious how you can see different personalities and different behavior style, and you can feel how all of them are nice people but you can´t engagement 100% with everybody. It´s normal, each one is different. It´s a nice experience to check what engagement is.

Normally, person connect with people with the same personality, concerns, culturals background, life experiences... In my opinion, you can learn and force engagement skills to conect with persons but engagement is a natural facts, is part of our life process and it´s part of your personality. 

Summarizing, You cant choose or force to connect with somebody, your subconscious will choose for you.

I want to finish my post with some questions for you:

WORLD 2.0 VS WORLD 1.0

From the history we have interacted in a physical enviroment to survive, but actually, something in changing our life style. It´s a fleeting fact? or it´s a new way to write the human history?.

I have to introduce briefly both concepts. We understand World 1.0 (real world) as the physical and earthly place where we live and interact with our close enviroment, and World 2.0 (internet, Networks...) like a virtual place where we interact online in a virtual globalized community.

World 1.0

-> Strengths.

Pshisycal presence, it´s basic to strengthen human relationship. And essential to understand what friendship is. Several studies show that most than 80% of our actual friends are living in a 600 milles radius.


Trust and direct contact, you can interact online  with somebody but, if you want to continue a relationship or strike a bargain (business world), you need to meet with him in a pshysical enviroment.

-> Weaknesses.

It´s dificult to interact with people in a far away place. We have physical limitations to interact.
We have acces to limited information sources.

World 2.0  

                                                       -> Advantage

It´s a revolucionary issue.
It has a relevant Importance aceptation between people and the corporative world.
We can easily interact with any body around the world, getting information easily and moving in a world wide spac. 
Social active participation in political and relevants facts.

-> Disadvantage.

It´s not a direct contact. "You can´t feel our touch who you are interacting". And most facts, it´s necessary to feel, to  touch and see the person wich you are interacting.
Person and companies can change his real personality, it´s easy to lie.
In my opinion it´s a perfect way to keep contact, but a doubtful way to start a relationship.
People can interact from home with somebody, from a PC or phone, it´s could be dangerous, because any person can interact with people and never meet physically with them. It´s a hazardous trend.


From this corner I think that both are necesary and complement to interact, logically, World 2.0 depends of World 1.0 so, we have to make a responsible use of the Virtual world.
World 2.0 is an important tool to keep society strong against threats or injustices.

I want to finish my post with one doubt. Could become Social Media an unsocial fact??
