The comunication system start since prehistory era with a singnal language till today, with Internet.
It was part of our survival system.
Today, Internet and Social Media represent the last step in this evolutional comunication system.
It´s an important aspect in our comunication system. That is clear.
What is going on?
Interner change everyday, each minute and each second you can find diferent contents and diferent formats.
Much trends. Much predictions. It´s more than fast. Uncontrollable.
Tools like facebook, twitter.... five years ago it was unknown, and today is a important part in our personal and profesional life. Think about it. How many time can you spend everyday in Internet?
There two diferent opinions about Internet and Social Media.
Some people think about a normal human evolution, and the rest of them think about total revolution in our life system.
-The revolution concept (from the Latin revolutio, "a turn around") is a fundamental change in power or organizational structures that takes place in a relatively short period of time. (Source: Wikipedia)
-The evolution concept(which Richta defines as "a material entity created by the application of mental and physical effort to nature in order to achieve some value"). This evolution, he says, follows two trends: the replacement of physical labour with more efficient mental labour, and the resulting greater degree of control over one's natural environment, including an ability to transform raw materials into ever more complex and pliable products. I am convinced that Social Media is a "new evolution way", it´s like an revolution of the progress. It´s not a general evolution because many people in some regions, in Spain for example, dont know nothing about what is Social Media?. It´s mainly an evolution to young people (people between 0-30 years-old), but is not a evolution to everyone. Summarizing, it doesn´t affects to everybody.
Maybe, at the moment it´s just a develop, but would be a revolution when finally Social Media an Internet bounce into our political system as well as our fundamental human behavior.
I mean, it would be a revolution when internet replace our physical space, then we need internet to every little thing. To buy our food, to interact people, to work ....
Fortunately, today we dont need internet to meet and to have a drink together. Tomorrow we dont know.
